Even Companies with Environmental Policies Need Reminders

I continue to be constantly reminded of the need for a website such as Consumer Change. I recently stayed in a vacation resort, owned by a Wyndham Worldwide whose environmental policy includes some wonderful objectives such as cutting energy consumption and recycling. When I got to my room after checking in, the air conditioning and overhead fans had been left on, there were no recycling facilities for guests, and in the lobby coffee was served in Styrofoam cups.
Simple changes can make a tremendous difference and even companies with great environmental policies need to be reminded of the small changes they can make.
